Well, I just dropped off Loki at the vet clinic. I will be called when the operation has been completed. Until then I will be working, waiting for the phone to go telling me my puppy did fine and can be picked up tomorrow.
I hate waiting.

Pre-op jitters
Today is the big day. Loki goes in for surgery. But first I need to rectify an earlier statement. Loki does not seem to have a tumor but a bunch of big cysts. They are not as malicious as tumors but they do pose a health risk, hence the need to be removed.
New theme in the make
Last weekend I started creating a new theme for this blog. Before you might fear a complete restyle, don’t worry; I am merely going to do a better job at making a template than I have with this one. I like the style, but it can be done better.
Causality in action
What a wonderful thing causality is. I just found another fine example of it in my quest to get to work. What do you think the outcome of the following equation: rush hour + speed trap = …?
Oh and the good news
I got one hell of a raise on my salary. I will not go into details but it is in the double figures.
