Star Wars – The Old Republic: I AM IN YOU!

Star Wars - the Old RepublicAfter saying my farewells to Everquest 2 last year and briefly rubbing up to Dungeons and Dragons Online, I’ve found my new MMO: Star Wars – The Old Republic.

First of all I am a fan of Star Wars. Not a big fan, but I like it enough to consider myself as such. Whenever there was a Star Wars game out I’d try it and if it was any good I’d buy it. Last spring a friend of mine brought over the Star Wars Sage tabletop role-playing game and we played that for a while (and love it).

Now I can immerse myself into a world and share it with all the wacky gits like myself. I shall be posting some stuff about my experiences and my characters in here, just because I feel a bit nerdy recently. B)

In order to install the game I had to download the friggin’ Internet (25GB worth of game material!) which made me impatient. Seeing that patience is a virtue of the Jedi (and because some friends had gone over to the Dark Side) I decided to create a Sith Warrior (now Marauder).

Although I am not on a RP server I do try to play her according to the Sith Code as taught by Darth Bane:

Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall free me.

If you play as well, drop me a line (in-game on server Frostclaw to the toon Sylencia) and I will see you on the Dark Side.
