When Shit goes Wrong…

When shit goes wrong it tends to do this for me on epic scale. Today everything seemed to go awry.

It started with a few setbacks at work, which were a bit meh but nothing I can’t handle but are just a nuisance. It’s one of those days you feel like you are dragging around a dead horse.

Also I am having some trouble with the printer; the sodding thing doesn’t want to calibrate the colours any more, which results in a rather shoddy quality when printing colour. I can look forward to calling HP  helpdesk to have some punk run the entire support script with me just to tell me I either need to replace all supplies or have the printer picked up for servicing.

I also had an appointment with the mortgage place to finalize the financing of the new home. I was lucky to get there. The car started to protest wildly, to the point I’d lose full power and the engine would just shut off…  while driving. Needles to say this gave me quite a scare because with the engine shut-down there’s no power steering and no power breaking. Before I had my appointment I could first arrange my car to be towed away to the garage. I am a bit afraid what the bill might be.

Luckily my sweet sister, who is currently recuperating from her surgery to remove the bone cancer, was willing to lend me her little Toyota Yaris. At least I will be able to get to and from work. (Thank you Lein for helping me out, I really appreciate it)

There was some good today as well. I managed to get everything arranged for the house and finally got the special edition Abrahadabra CD by Dimmu Borgir. I also got word that I can qualify myself for small calibre firearms, starting today. A few things I’ve been eagerly anticipating.

Edit: And of course the love and support from my wibby makes up for a lot of it. *loves back*

  1. Everything going wrong, frustration building, and then ending the article stating you’ve been qualified for a firearm…. hmmm, let’s remember to stay on your good side 😉

  2. Hehe, I didn’t look at it this way, since I was just very much looking forward to my qualification. But yes, best to stay on my good side… just in case. 😉
