Just a quick update. I just got the word that I can pick up my new computer! (the one I mentioned earlier) I will head out directly from work to pick it up. I am very very excited. Muahaha!

Last saturday I went Karting and Laser Tagging with friends, which resulted in me being pretty sore on sunday. A good reason to have a quiet day to work on the new features of the Daily Dilbert plug-in.
I wanted to tackle a few things before I would sink my teeth into the strip importing bit, which will take me a little while.

The following story was the source of quite some debate on the workfloor. 22-year old Gary Reinbach died from case of liver cirrhosis after he had been refused a liver transplant. The regulations say that a person must prove he can remain sober for 6 months to be eligible for a transplant. The story can be read here.
Folks close to me know that I’ve been talking about doing this for a long long time. (pretty much a whole year!) Finally I’ve put my (birthday) money where my mouth is. Last Saturday I went and ordered my new computer system.
