To be honest I thought the stage was set. Safari to Windows platform, Firefox 3.0 released, IE 8 to come. A whole ‘new’ cycle of browser wars to see who comes on top. Little did I suspect a ‘late comer’ to the next round in browser slug wars.
But here it is: Chrome.
You know the feeling like the world is trying to screw you over? I just had one of those moments today. What happened is, that apparently my mobile phone subscription is in limbo. It all started with an unexpected invoice.
I arrived late at work today and had a perfectly valid reason. As I left home for work I saw no major issues on the road. As soon as I hit the freeway however I found myself stuck in a traffic jam for half an hour. This is the reason why.
Once in a great while a TV show comes on my path that will utterly hook me. This time it is Ghost Hunters, a TV series from the Sci-Fi channel. This program views the paranormal pretty much the way I look at it; down to earth.
This must be definitely the most curious thing I have seen in the sense of advertisement; a promotion video for Windows 386. Aside from the fact that the 80’s is a decade best forgotten, I wonder how well this promotion was received by contemporary human beings.
