It’s finally settled. From the 11th of November I will officially be a house owner. Today I got called that the bank has approved the mortgage. Just an hour or so later the notary called to make an appointment for the transfer.
I am really excited because it will be the end of the second phase and the start of the third: decorating and home improvement.
Megan is frantically trying to gather as many moving boxes as she can. She wants to have a lot of the stuff boxed up before we even get the keys. In a sense I understand that, since you want to be able to focus on the house and not so much on the actual boxing and moving.
Moving boxes cost a fortune to buy though, so if anyone has some spare boxes we can use, be sure to tell us. Aside fro. That I am looking into hiring movers to do the heavy lifting. Usually you can borrow the moving boxes from them.
I got a few things I need to arrange before thursday. One is the insurance on the property. I need that by next week thursday. The other is to have power in our house so that we can start with the chores.

Yay! OUR house!!!!! Somehow it doesn’t feel like I am frantically searching, more like I’d rather be snoozing at the moment though. xD
I am excited to look for what we want to decorate the walls and floor with for sure now though. Also to see what we design for a kitchen on Saturday. I want to see if a couple of options are possible or not since it is a small space.
