For you who do not receive and/or watch dutch television this will be a nice story. Last saturday a streaker made an appearance in a show called “Mooi weer de Leeuw” hosted by Paul de Leeuw.
The Vegan Streaker as the man called himself wanted to make a statement on consumption of meat and animal products. However the Streaker was apparently not aware of the reputation of the host as you will see unfold on this Youtube video.

Unfortunately I cannot even begin to translate the word jokes made in the show. But it should be clear that the host puts the joke on the streaker.
The Vegan Streaker has responded disgruntled in the media about wants to have an appology from Paul de Leeuw for tearing off his thong. If not he hinted to press charges on molestation against the show host. The result is that the Dutch media have at least another little scandal to feast upon. And of course the public debates on whether the host was in the wrong or not.
I am not a big fan of Paul the Leeuw, but personally I thought his action was brilliant. It was the streaker that disrupted the show, imposing his message on people and obviously seeking attention and attention he got. If you start an action like this, in a satire programme and with a show host that is known for being a bit extreme and eccentric you should expect the unexpected.
Reacting in the fashion he did shows the Vegan Streaker was not ready to deal with the consequences of his own action or is oblivious to the laws of causality. He should be glad for the attention he got; if he did not want to be ‘exposed’ he should have kept his clothes on and his mouth shut in the first place.
