If you have been following my blog for some time you remember I have been to Blue Man Group some time ago and was left incredibly excited about the act. Last week I came across a DVD of them in the supermarket and I could not resist, so I bought it.
The DVD is different from the show I’ve seen. It shows the Complex Rock Tour which in Dallas. The show is a bit more about music rather than the other acts I have seen but it is a similar experience.
There are several songs which are performed, some of them with guest vocalists such as Tracy Bonham, Dave Matthews, Gavin Rossdale and Venus Hum. Of course the DVD does not compete with the sensation of the actual concert, but having sit through their show it comes back to you.
The video below is called the Current. It is possibly my favorite song of the entire DVD and gives a good idea of the power of the music Blue Man Group produces.
