After anouncing the return of the gravatar I noticed that on occasion my blog would turn a blank page and in this case more literal than I cared for.Â
Apparently the Gravatar implementation I have chosen does not want to work well with my version of WordPress. As a result I have disabled the Gravatars again. Until I have upgraded the blogsoftware and checked & tested de Gravatar implementation myself the Gravatars will not return.
