If you are planning to hit a theater one of these days and you absolutely don’t have any clue what you’d like to see, I suggest you check out Blue Man group. If you are not planning on going to any theater go see them anyway! Seriously, go… now…
As you might guess, I went and saw them tonight and I was amazed. I had already heard some reviews and read a little about the show and I was very interested. This is rather odd for me, because normally I am not the type of person to go to theaters for any type of performance but from what I had heard it was something to consider. When I got the opportunity to go and see them as an ilse media outing I did not have to ponder on it very long.
Anyway I went with high expectations and even those were surpassed. This show takes entertainment to a new level in my opinion. Explaining what happens is pointless; you can only try and give a global impression. I am not going to say what happens because it’s pointless; you can only appreciate it when you have seen it.
The show really is an explosion of light and color, sound and rhythm, tricks and humor and humor and humor. It’s a full-blown orgasm for your ears and eyes and there isn’t a single dull moment in the show; you are just swept from surprise to surprise. At the end of the show you really wish it is not over yet, even though you are hoarse from laughing.
Seeing the thee main actors on stage in that blue paint, doing their tricks and performing their art I can only speak admiration for their craft. They have put something completely innovative and refreshing on the stage. I simply cannot remember last time I had such a good time in a theater.
Ending on this note I will just state what I said before: go and see them. I doubt you will be disappointed.
