I’m not sure what’s up but the last few days my blog has been overrun by spam. Akismet is running overtime and its catch rate is dropping steadily.

Until the spam situation is under control and Akismet is getting its act together all new comments will need approval unless they have a previously approved post. That means your replies will show with a delay. My apologies in advance.

In light of the lack of relevant things to post let me at least celebrate the fact that Askimet filtered out the 100.000th piece of spam last week.

So, three cheers for Askimet, the reason why my blog keeps nice and neat.
