The following story was the source of quite some debate on the workfloor. 22-year old Gary Reinbach died from case of liver cirrhosis after he had been refused a liver transplant. The regulations say that a person must prove he can remain sober for 6 months to be eligible for a transplant. The story can be read here.

Attempt on the Dutch royal family
Yesterday some yahoo made an attempt on the lives of the Dutch royal family during the queen’s birthday celebration ceremony by trying to ram his car into the coach in which they were driving. To get there the man litterally plowed through the fence and the spectators, resulting ultimately in 5 deaths and 12 injured before crashing into a national monument.
Seeing as this news has gone all over the world by now I thought it is worth commenting on.

Yesterday I came across an article on philly.com on a 15 year-old girl facing child pornography charges in Clearfield county. The girl apparently sent nude pictures of herself to a 27-year old man. The man has been arrested and is also facing charges.
