Today a massive campaign has started to create awareness of the importance of donating organs after death. One of the events organized was to have public figures trying to recruit organ donors, which was broadcasted on nu.nl (the biggest dutch news site); the same office building I work at.

All the celebrities  passing by didn’t mean much to me. What caught my eye was the effort everyone was taking to make people aware of a problem and trying to convince them to become organ donors.

I just came across this video with Stephen Fry ranting about self-righteous spelling nazis. As the words flow from his lips they also flow on the screen using kinetic typography.

When shit goes wrong it tends to do this for me on epic scale. Today everything seemed to go awry.

It started with a few setbacks at work, which were a bit meh but nothing I can’t handle but are just a nuisance. It’s one of those days you feel like you are dragging around a dead horse.

Parenting can be hard, or so I keep hearing, but most of it however seems like common sense. Apparently common sense is a bit too much to ask for some people.
