Got at work late today…
I arrived late at work today and had a perfectly valid reason. As I left home for work I saw no major issues on the road. As soon as I hit the freeway however I found myself stuck in a traffic jam for half an hour. This is the reason why.
This little wreck caused all three lanes on the A4 to be closed down; traffic was redirected over the emergeny lane. Funneling 3 lanes into 1 tends to slow down things terribly. However seeing this scene it makes you consider how bad being late to work is compared to, for example, being the owner of that bike.
At any rate, it seems to be a good illustration why tailgating is a bad practice.

How ’bout a lower daily coffee intake?
People who consciously display risky behavior in traffic, are usually more focussed then people who always act like they should and fall asleep behind the wheel…
